# How to delete a door when device is obsolete?

I need to return a garadget device since it has a loose contact (USB plug at device). I added another garadget device as a replacement and do now have 2 doors. How can I delete the obsolete one via App or Webinterface?

Is there still no way to do this from the app? I have a door I want to remove as well.

There’s a way to [do that through API](https://docs.particle.io/reference/api/#unclaim-device) or [command line interface](https://docs.particle.io/reference/cli/#particle-device-remove), but it’s not currently in the app.
Please PM me the ID and name of the unit and I’ll take care of it for you.
