New iOS App Delay for Opening and Closing

So, I am using the new Garadget iOS app and it appears to be working for me now except for one small quirk that I am noticing. When I use the app to open or close the garage, there seems to be a delay of about 10 seconds from when I tell it to open and close and when the door actually starts to open or close. I tried the same functions on the older app and the open and close actions start immediately when I tap on the door image in the app.

Any thoughts on what might be causing the delay? I checked and the setting are the same in both apps with regards to the relay time and delay and the door open/close time.

I posted about the same issue. No response from the devs yet.

iOS Garadget 2 reaction delayed

Using the same garage door and changing nothing else, the original Garadget app makes the door open and close almost instantly when tapping the door icon. Using the Garadget 2 app, the app animates as if the door is opening/closing but the actual door does not respond for a good 2 seconds. Is this expected? I hope this can be fixed.
