Wi-Fi does not connect

I am not able to connect to the wifi. i tried using my iphonne and the webapp on Mac and windows. Also, tried to use different accounts. But, still, my device is not able to connect to the Photon-XXXX wifi. Quite frustrating.

Any idea on how to get this to work?

I learned there is a small percentage of units that have difficulties with connection during the setup. Additional testing procedures are now in place to prevent this from affecting the users. This issue doesn’t affect the quality of the WiFi connection after Garadget has been configured.

Try to get your device very close to Garadget. If none of your devices able to connect, here are the other options:

  • send your unit back for exchange
  • setup using USB
  • Temporarily extend the internal antenna by taking your unit apart and holding the screwdriver to the gold plated surface on the board while setting up
