All the services (Garadget app/web, Alexa, HomeKit) report door is closed when it is open. I can still close it by hitting the button in the garadget app then it corrects itself.
Never had this problem in the past year. Only started happening in the past 2-3 weeks. And it’s very random and infrequent. Any thoughts ?
This is likely due to ambient light blinding the sensor. You can bump up the threshold from the default of 10 to 20. If the issue persists, you can move the reflector from the door to the wall right above the top edge of the door.
Thanks. It’s usually when the door is fully open, I adjusted the sensor and haven’t seen the issue happening any longer. As always appreciate the support. Truly love this product!
