Fine Tuning: false alerts on open and close

Hi
Just installed the app and got it up and running in less than 10 minutes!
is there any reference material on fine tuning? I am getting false alerts on open and close and am wondering if there is info on how to adjust settings so i don’t get false positives.

Yes, this subject is covered in this thread. The idea is to get as high of the reflection as possible and then set the threshold to about half of lowest reading.

Other settings are not relevant to sensor. You can learn about them in GitHub repository for the firmware, see doorConfig variable description.

this was solved by a shift in the laser after install to not be on target. i readjusted and now have reflect rates in the mid 90’s.
