I just wanted to share that I have my setup working with the bluetooth buttons from Flic. The button is linked over bluetooth to my phone which runs the Flic app. From there I can configure the button to trigger an IFTTT event which is tied into the Garadget service.
While I do have Homelink in my car, this obviously allows much greater distance to trigger the door. I’ve set it up so that a single click will open the door and a double click will close the door.
