Genie Opened light button not working

I just installed the product and it was as easy as advertised. It mostly works. My Garage opener (Genie) has a light and door button on the remote. The opener has 4 terminals on it. I plug the opener in slots 1 & 2. The light button no longer works but the door button does.

Any ideas ?

Is it possible you reversed the polarity on the wall console wires?

I will reverse the wires and see what happens.
