Hi, I’m new here so if this has been asked and fixed, I apologize.
We are replacing a garage door opener but using the existing sensors. There are only two wires from the button on the wall and two wires from the sensors. The two wires from the new button on the wall were connected to the red and white connections next to each other on the unit. The white wire from the existing sensor was connected to the white connection, but the red wire from the existing sensor has been connected to the black connector and also tried without connecting it. Neother of those attempts worked to open the door using the up and down arrows on the unit. They flash, but dont open. Als9, the bee button on the wall doesn’t work to open the door or turn on the light. Pic attached is from previous connection. Please help!
