I keep getting open and close notifications randomly when the doors (I have Garadget on both garage doors) are open during the day. The doors are not moving. I don’t have any problems when they are closed. And it doesn’t seem to be a problem when the doors are open after dark. I don’t want to have to close my garage doors during the day when I am working in it or in the yard. Any help?
Please check out the reported reflection rate in settings during these notifications and increase the threshold setting as necessary.
When I originally installed mine, I placed the refector near the top of the garage door between the small garage windows. I had the same issue as you. I subsequently moved the target lower on the garage door, a couple feet below the windows. It has worked flawlessly since.

It’s probably spiders or bugs flying around it or landing on the laser.
