Just confirming - the only way to control Garadget locally is using MQTT?

Yes, at this time Garadget only supports MQTT for the local/cloudless connection. This is fairly common home automation protocol. Some hubs have the embedded broker (server), others can interface with the dedicated broker.

Yeah, I’m using HomeSeer plugin, but unfortunately it’s using cloud API.
So will have to learn MQTT then.

If so can I have the details required? I’m able to receive status updates but I’m having an issues sending commands.
