I bought this for my father some years ago. Since then Ive gotten my own place and he replaced his opener, so he gave it to me.
I’m trying to set it up under a new account in my name but having trouble.
Do i need to do something special?
Does it matter of router uses same ID for 2.4 and 5 band?
What might i be missing?
I recently gave my daughter my old garadget. I ran into a very similar issue.
I attempted to connect it to her internet, no problem, but when trying to add it to her account, it would fail. But I could add it to my account…really strange…then I read blogs on issues like this.
The solution was to remove the device from my account.
Once I did this, the device was easily added to her account.
