New SmartThings App: Garage status slow to update

Hi,

I am using the new SmartThings App. It looks like the status of the door is very slow to reflect in the SmartThings Device Handler.

For example, if I open the Garage Door with the remote, SmartThings takes a lot of time to notice so my light automations do not run in time.

Is the Garage Door pushing updates to SmartThings or is it polling at an interval?

Garadget service uses push notification type update to ST’s server so delay is likely with the processing on ST’s side. I can double check the event times in logs if you PM me your device’s ID.
