Notifications no longer working

I am on IOS 17.6.1 and for the last couple of weeks I have not been receiving any notifications. I have tried:

  1. disabling all the alerts, signing out of app, signing back into app, enabling alerts
  2. deleting and re-installing app.
  3. resetting Garadget and re-linking it to my Wi-fi.

I can control the garage door, but get no notification. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I researched the issue and it has to do with google shutting down the existing push notifications messaging service and forcing migration to a new method. I’ll try to get it fixed, but it may take some time as this looks like a substantial task.

Please keep in mind that the product has been discontinued for a few years now and things may be breaking as time goes on. I would suggest looking for an alternative solution in the long run.
