I’ve recently (as in last few days) started getting batches of online and offline notifications from the iOS app, where each notification is just seconds apart.
Is there a mechanism for determining what has triggered these, e.g. was it loss of wifi, backend issue, etc

I had exactly the same problem that appeared on Saturday Sep 15. I disconnected the power supply and reconnected and that solved the problem.
Mine is doing the exact same thing on the Android side. got 57 notifications about the door being opened and then closed while I was standing right in front of the door which never opened once, This continued for several days at different times of the day
