Server status

I am not getting app notifications nor email notifications after opening & closing. Is the server down?

I have had the same problem for a week or so. No notification with door open or close. I have flipped the switch to enable the open notification on/off without improvement

I’m having the same issue. This has been working perfectly for years and now recently the notifications have almost stopped. Occasionally I receive them but most times nothing. I have deleted and reinstalled plus checked all the settings but still no notifications.
Can you please help

Same issue here - no notifications suddenly the last several weeks.

Before digging further, is everything ok with the server. My Garadget is connected to home internet but getting the good ole TimeOut message??? Many thanks!

Folks, don’t waste your time. You’ll continue to receive your notifications late. I had the problem of delayed notifications for approx. 8 months. I thought it was my phone and the lock screen setting - Nope! I believe the developer has dialed down their subscription to whichever cloud provider’s service they use. So, this past weekend, I changed to another manufacture’s device and I’m getting notifications within seconds.

This new company’s UI is full of ads and up-selling, and doesn’t have all of the features that Garadget has, but it works.

I take my hat off to Garadget’s developer. It was an awesome product for years (I got mine at least 7 years ago), but the support and the reliability is no longer there. The device still works though, but I need my notifications to arrive almost immediately so I know when someone is either coming in or leaving via the garages for obvious reasons.

Please note that I don’t plan on checking this thread for responses.
