Why do I have a timeout on my Garage door app. How do I fix it?
I can’t open my garage door!
Typically communication times out when your phone’s connection is not reliable.
Fore example this may happen temporarily while you are leaving the house and the phone still trying to hold to fading WiFi signal before switching to cellular data.
Also I had a lot of trouble in the past with band steering turned on, since I renamed my 5ghz and 2.4ghz bands differently my gardget has been bullet proof and no longer gives me the timeout message which I used to get a few times a month and I had to reset it.
