Update firmware?

How can I update the firmware on my Garadget? I want LWT support (in MQTT) and I see there’s an implementation at Commits · Garadget/firmware · GitHub, but it appears to be in 1.25 and my device only has 1.24.

Garadget firmware 1.24

The updated firmware 1.24 is out and most units have automatically received the update. The purpose of the update was to update underlying system to the most current stable version. There is no change in any of the functionality from the previous firmware release.
